  • Understand the steps needed for early success along your individual journey

This (3 hour) introductory course (Part 2) will allow participants to:

 

  • Gain insight into the audition and casting processes

  • Understand the importance of networking and collaboration (team)

  • Identify scams and how to avoid

  • Identify entry level legal and ethical considerations

  • Understand industry entry-level nomenclature

Crafting Your Creative Identity Season 1, Episode 1

This (3 hour) mid-level course Part 1 will allow participants to:

 

  • Explore actual breakdowns, casting boards and how to self-submit in real time

  • Explore the importance of intentionality and character analysis when auditioning and performing (personal bio)

  • Understand the importance of acting “technique”

  • Understand mid-level nomenclature

Crafting Your Creative Identity Season 1, Episode 2

This (3 hour) mid-level course Part 2 will allow participants to:

 

  • Explore the “right” time to build the “right” team and their commissions Understanding markets and what they offer you...”Am I a local hire?”

  • Explore what's in your backyard

  • Learn how to develop the right pace for your journey

  • Create a unique personal brand and online presence

  • Explore mid-level nomenclature

Launching Your Career

This (3 hours total) course will allow participants to:

  • Explore career pathways

  • Explore and craft submission strategies

  • Explore strategies for overcoming rejection

  • Understand how to showcase your work for industry attention

  • Explore “on-set” nomenclature, set etiquette, set collaboration and teamwork.

  • Understand do’s and don’ts of set protocols

  • Understand your responsibilities to production and theirs to you

  • Understand legal and ethical considerations

  • Understand set nomenclature

Set Etiquette --What I should know

Premiering January 2024

In this (3 hours) advanced course participants will:

 

  • Delve deeper into the understanding of the differences in specific types of casting and what it means for your preparation.

  • Understand what kind of demand is put on you/your child to hold a series regular/principal film role.

  • Understand what your ethical considerations should be on-set.

  • Understand what your legal considerations should be on-set.

  • Understand how/when to engage Business Managers and their role

  • Explore how/when to set up the right business entity for your child's future and tax shelters.

  • Consider creating multiple streams of income and know if endorsements are right for you and when?

This course provides the understanding of how school works while serving out your extended time on a production.  Know how your teacher can help your child and within what boundaries.  Your teacher is your child's biggest asset on set. 

Gain a true understanding of production can bank hours for shooting, how much they bank,  and oh....what is bank?

Gain an understanding of what the law means with regard to shoot time in comparison to set time.

Explore question like, "do I bring work or does the teacher provide work for my child?"
